Thanks Ken for the stats on the drive and the heads up on the tickets. The most I've driven one way is 13 hours and that was a decade ago. Don't know if this decade older body of mine can take twice the load...but perhaps in a 911...

Bet you're missing the rain out here in West Van. We actually had SoCal weather two weeks ago here in Vancouver, the stores were all sold out of airconditioners and fans. The nearest available units were in Prince George!

We were actually 10 C higher then LA for those days. The rain today is nice, it will help put out some of the forest fires...then back to the sun.

Are you a local PCA member?

This rain is truly a welcome respite from that heat wave, it's not that often for Vancouverites to actually hope for rain.

With regards the PCA, I was a member between '02-'03 when I had the 993. I will look into joining the club again now that you mentioned it. Cheers!

The heat didn't bother me, we don't get enough of the hot dry days. I think anyone that complains should be shipped to Toronto and forced to live there. I did 4 years and couldn't wait to get back to Vancouver!

It is a good group of guys, a lot of members on the North Shore. Look forward to meeting you.

You make it sound like being in Toronto is like doing hard time. Actually spent an aggregate of 7 years in T.O. in the 70s and 80s...less traffic then. See you at the local PCA soon.
