997S '08 Engine into an '05 Car - Is it Possible?

I've been offered a nearly new engine from a damaged '08 997S for a really good price. The engine's only done 8000 miles.

I was thinking of buying this engine and putting it in my '05 997S. This will release my current higher-mileage engine for development work and give me an almost-new engine with all the latest upgrades to use as my daily driver.

Does anyone know if there's anything else needs to be done to slot an '08 engine into an '05 car? Is there any difference in wiring harnesses, control units, sensors, hoses etc.? (Or anything else that I might need to be aware of)?

Thanks for any insights you might be able to give.

I know it can be done 100%. I have a 05' Carrera S and my local dealer Pffaf Porsche dropped in a 08' motor for me. I don't know the technical details regarding wiring harnesses etc. It feels faster than ever, even sounds better!
