Question How to remove factory rear wing

Just bought a NR type III spoiler that sit on the rear hood. Did a search but couldn't find anything on how to remove the lift motors and pop up wing on a C2. any help would be appreciated..

Do you mean an NR Type III wing? If not, can you post a picture of the one you bought? I am looking hard at the NR III wing right now.

OC PCAR, its super easy.

(its a 2 person job though, unless you want to risk dropping the decklid)

Pop the deck lid and open.

on the right side of the engine bay there is a wiring harness, follow the wire and disconnect that powers the fan and motor. unplug this wire.

there are 4 screws (2 on each side that hold the decklid to the latches)

remove screws.

now remove decklid/spolier

done

.... now you owe me some beers!

funny.. but I'm not removing the deck lid only the inside popup part along with motors. the wing sits in that space on the deck lid..
