You won't have a lot of competition buying a brown C2S with supple leather .

The car has been titled. Plus it's 9 days out on an e bay sale .
You can -
1) Call the dealership and try and negotiate it with a test drive just like any other car on their lot.
2) opt for the ebay route which an 09 Porsche is a big ticket item --wow.
You's have to watch it and bid on the last day because any offer you make now is just a starting point to face being outbidded .

When I buy a car I like to go and see it, drive it , and talk to the sales (if new) and service (if used) .

I look at that car and the number that pops into my head is 73.7 or walk.

You may feel its worth more if you love it.

I really like that color - I was going to order one in Macadamia. The options are really sweet too. Good luck if you decide to go after it!

a friend bought an 08 S 6 speed for 60K in the same color combo with the same mileage. I say wait a few weeks or months! I like the color, but not many want the 'brown'. Good luck!

It truly is a beautiful car... But the price is ridiculous The car does not even have Full Leather option, or Sport Seats. The color combo is really nice, but not worth $81.5K.

I say $75K max...

Actually, it's a beautiful color in person. Macadamia is my #2 pick on 997. That leather option is really not good.

Call them and offer 74k. If they sell it on eBay, don't they pay like 4% of the final bid? So, there's your discount.

That car is still sitting and they won't come down. Found another but this time it is a "new" 2008 still sitting on the lot. wondering if a low price and the 1.9% deal Porsche has going on would apply to a 2008.

Any thoughts on fair price? MSRP is $81900

Mac Brown\Sand Leather (not full leather however)

Additional
EquipmentP77 - Leather Sport Seats
XSC - Porsche Crest in Headrest
810 - Floor Mats in Interior Color
692 - Remote CD Changer (6 Disc)
680 - Bose High End Sound Package
267 - Self Dimming Mirrors
640 - Sport Chrono Package Plus
446 - Wheel Caps with Colored Crest
342 - Heated Front Seats
672 - Navigation Module for PCM
Price$81,900.00 USD

You keep finding these very expensive cars . Even worse they "sit" BECAUSE the dealership isn't coming down in price . Otherwise they would be sold .

There is a huge difference between an 08 leftover and an 09 car . If you pay once cent over 65K for that 08 then you are in too deep .

If you are that set on macadamia and as you see it's not that common -- and if you are ready to pay more --then at least call several dealerships , see who has the earliest build slot , spec the car , and order it exactly the way you want it .

One last thing . a friend of mine was shopping BMW's last week and saw this 08 Turbo in Macadamia . He had mentioned a price significantly lower than what I see on auto trader but unless one calls he can't know. http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false
