Carbon fiber interiors
What do you think.., i have a 2009 C2 White exterior. black interior. black PCM, PDK, and the trim now for the dashboard part is that...goldish/silverish..thing.....
im thinking which parts to paint..and which to get carbon parts for...
..so far i think i like the idea of painting mid console in the exterior white, and carbon the door pull over and the dashboard. (or should i get a carbon mid console?)
this leaving the airvents. and that ring around the PDK shifter in that orginal gold/silver tone....
the large peice that surrounds the PDK actualy is the black plastic.. should i have that painted? or...
i kinda wanna replace all the gold/silver tone color with carbon..but im not sure. will it be too much carbon?
i just dont like plastic, so..whatever is leather (handbreak/gear and door trim ...)im keeping as is for now...
i want to hav the car looking clean and simple.
just dont like plastic..(dont mind carbon fiber of course hehe
)
You could get the PDK trim piece in leather... I think it looks great. I attached a pic. Here's the thread I found it on: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...rake-kits.html
I think your ideas of painting the console white and the door pulls in carbon are great. I attached a couple pics of what TechArt has done to interiors of white cars (997.1's though but still close to yours). Look at the one with the yellow seatbelts and they did exactly what you were talking about.
I think a mixture of leather, painted pieces and carbon looks really nice. That's what I'm going for.

I prefer another board sponsor:
