intake system

wsup guys, im shopping for an intake system, and Ive heard from a few people as well as my local shop that the EVOMS V-Flow Air Intake is the best, and proven gains/power .... Ive also looked at the fabspeed intake with the double cones... anybody use any of these? any sugestions on an intake? Ive heard alot of good reveiws on the Evoms V-flow intake, havnt heard much on the fabspeed, any imput would be much apreciated ... Thanks guys... Im sure there are other intakes out there, im not stuck on these two intakes, they are just the ones ive seen on alot of peoples websites...do you feel the intake? is it a a mod worth doing? Thanks guys

You didnt mention what type of 997 you have..is it a S, 997.1 or 997.2. The dual cone Fabspeed is for a 997.2S (09+), the Evoms kit is for a 05-08 (997.1).

The Evoms kit may add a few hp and more aggressive intake growl...my favorite is going with a OEM Porsche X51 intake...around $1100 but its C/F and you do have to cut a new opening out...more involved than the Evoms kit.

In my opinion it's worth doing. You may not necessarily feel a turbo-like kick in the pants after installing it, but the gains are most certainly there. I'd say go with the EVOMS.
