What is wider a 997 C2 or 996 Turbo? Also, are the wheel wells in both cars the same. I purchase some wheels for my 996 TT and now want to put them on my new purchase C2 997.

Thanks

996 turbo is a wide body car. 997 c2 is a narrow body car.

I won't be too much help, but I think the key is the offsets. I think the offsets are a fair bit different. The 997 is basically a widebody compared to the 996; running an 11" rear wheel. I'm running the turbo wheels on my car now and I think the rear offsets are 51. That is definitely the lowest offset I would run in the rear - with tires no wider than 305's.

wheel wells are not the same. usually a 996tt has to run a spacer with a 997C2 wheel.

tell me the specs and i will tell you if it will fit the C2
