I don't have full leather and wouldn't mind having it... though I really, really wanted Carmona red. Finding a Carmona red with a carbon fiber interior was already going to be impossible so I bit the bullet. I will probably add the full leather over time with the Suncoast guys. In the end it will cost more than if the car had been ordered that way... but oh well. Mine came with Bose... which to me is an even bigger issue than full leather. Am going to do the NAV TV tooki and ipod hookup soon. I would favor the Fl car. How much is shipping? Does the dealer have Amazon Prime!

I'm not sure how much a full leather interior costs... I assume 4-5 K. I think I will probably spend as much to put in the dash and PCM pieces. The dealer quoted me about 2k in labor once... Suncoast was reasonable with the pieces. The PCM is DIY. Not sure about the doors. It's funny... the car has full carbone fiber which means that part of the dash and the vents are leather.

OT: Kid you not, I once got a wheelbarrow shipped Amazon Prime.

On Topic but thread drift. I am looking at two cars both out of state.
C4S with a few options more than I want and a color I am OK with
C2S perfectly equipped except no XM, and a color I am crazy about

With the C4S I'd sell my 01 S4 with the C2S I'd keep the S4 for snow days.

Your thoughts?

Very cool on the wheelbarrow. Not surprised as I was able to comparison shop Rolex's on Amazon! Correct me if I'm wrong... I thought the dealer could add the XM on a 997.2. It was just unavailable for us with a 997.1 (even though some dealers will install it... and it works). I've become addicted to XM (we have it in our Odyssey). I would go with the C2S... you can keep the S4 (my wife's next car) and save wear and tear on the Porsche! Win win.

I have XM as a feature on my iphone. My plan is to install the Tooki Nav TV. Theoretically the bluetooth and ipod hookup will allow me to play the XM app. that way! I believe Nav TV's add on is Sirius and not XM. Good luck! My above posts will reveal my bias... I really wanted Carmona Red. There wasn't a single CPO Carmona Red for thousands of miles when I was looking.

If the meteor car is a launch car, then it should have the SPASM (Sport PASM). All 4's have PASM. These two cars will drive differently, so it depends on what type of ride you are seeking -- comfort or sport. Likewise, the look is slightly different with the lowered car.

sounds like you should get the Fl car! shipping...check with intercity. if you are a pca member, you get a discount, but they deliver the car on their own schedule, not yours! I tried to go that route, but ended up getting another transporter that was open, but at least my car arrived in 1 piece. Full leather is a must and the Bose, nav and xm are good, too! Unless, you can convince the local dealer to lower the other car by about 5k, I'd go for the meteor!

I have to agree with you guys. The FL car is flat out the better car. I will say the dealers are definitely giving deals on the remaining 09's. I ended up getting 20%. I got that from 3 different dealers. I just couldnt pass it up. Will post photos as soon as I get the car. Amazing times.

I can relate. Got mine 2 month ago from Virgina. 1000 miles away. It was a fun trip, stopped by several big cities along I95.
Which FL dealer did you go?
