Thanks for the recommendation - Rejex

A fellow 6speeder (Adias) recommended I try Rejex on my car recently so I ordered a bottle. Just wanted to pass along my thanks. I'm rather challenged when it comes to detailing (never seem satisfied - what a surprise!) and can't ever seem to get out the last swirl or create a deep and consistent shine. Connoisseurs will no doubt find flaw with the stuff. I suspect good carnuba can create a better shine (though on my white cars I can't see the difference). But for me, a few rounds of PC polishing and a final coat of this stuff is rather remarkable. Easy to apply and inexpensive too. Many thanks.

You are welcome! I'm with you, there may be better products/methods, but Rejex is so easy to live with you that makes sense for most of us.

(For those looking, I ordered mine here last year: http://www.rejex.com/shopping.htm)

Interesting, so you guys are using it on your paint? I've been using it on the wheels of my cars as it makes cleaning the brake dust much easier. I didn't think to use it on the paint (was using Klasse on the paint)

I got mine at Amazon due to a good shipping price. But it's widely available. And yes, I use it on my paint - just did my wife's SC430 and the front half of my 997. Also did some black trim (yes, black trim) parts as a test. Looks good. I have a sense that it's remarkably durable so even if you're a carnuba finish lover, it might be work considering for the winter. I am pained to say that it has replaced my bottle of Klasse.
Amazing what comes out of test tubes these days...

It's good for windows and mirrors too, both on the car as well as your house.

I was wondering if this stuff can be used on glass. I guess there are no side effects when used on windshield?

Website says it works on glass and is available at some TrueValue Hardware stores. I ordered some on Amazon, looking forward to trying it out.

Some of our customers use this product for windows. They say it retards water similarly to Rainex. I've personally done it and it works great, though my windshield has a low profile and most things slide right off. If you are in the Bay Area, Premier Northern California located at 42630 Christy Street, Fremont, CA 94538 carries this product. It might save you on the shipping.

It's applied like most waxes. Clean microfiber and wax on/ wax off. Mind you directions indicate a 12 hr application/ bonding period to the surface. Layers over time will undoubtedly lessen this, and combined with other detailing products I'm sure your vehicle is just happy to be pampered. You could also use a low revolution buffer and apply it as well. Buffers tend to save you product since it disperses evenly and faster than any hand application. (If you mind the initial cost). As for side effects on glass, I haven't come across any.

I used this product on the front end and side mirror housings before driving cross country. It made the bug clean up an absolute pleasure compared to previous CC drives with only my regular (at the time) product on the car which was Zaino. For some reason I have not used it since....I will have to try it again next waxing session.

Quick question on this 12 hour comment - since I've seen it a few times (including on the bottle) but it seems somewhat ambiguous to me. Does it mean:
a) Takes 12 hours to fully bond to the surface. Apply as normal (apply, wait 15 mins and remove with microfiber towel). Final bonding will be 12 hours later
or
b) Optimal time between application and removal is 12 hours. Apply, wait 12 hours, and remove with microfiber towel.
??
Thx,
Verde

According to the website, it's "a".

"RejeX is wiped on, allowed to dry to a haze for approximately 20 minutes, wiped off, then allowed to cure for 12 hours."
