Had anyone had experience updating their PCM & Nav? I have a 2006 C4S w/NAV and no CD Changer and my PCM rev was 3.2 and I wanted to move up to 4.0/4.1. I put the new NAV DVD in and started my updating.... (not sure if this matters but i also have a Tooki BT unit installed & NavTV Sirius)

The first disc (PCM 2.1 Multimedia Update CD 1) worked fine and went through the upgrade process. Once done, my rev went down to 3.0 from 3.2

I didn't bother w/disc 2 (PCM 2.1 Multimedia Update CD 2) since the TCB said it only updated the Motorola phone module which i don't have

I tried the 3rd disc (PCM 2.1 Multimedia Update CD Nav MY08 ) and it does nothing. Now i'm stuck at an older software revision and was hoping i could get some advice on what I did wrong

These were all the discs;

1-PCM 2.1 Multimedia Update CD 1 - 000 043 205 46 002
2-PCM 2.1 Multimedia Update CD 2 - 000 043 205 46 003
3-PCM 2.1 Multimedia Update CD Nav MY08 - 000 044 901 40
4-PCM 2.1 DVD Navigation America - 997 044 901 51 / 612
5-North Amercia - Porsche Communication Management - S0006-0070-4-11-10.2004 (not sure what this disc was for but the DVD reader doesn't recognize it)

Found the proper TCB and updated disc 3 (turns out it goes in the Nav unit in the trunk)

But still at rev 3.0 from 3.2

Maybe “Still have the car?” is a better question. The original post is from 2009.

 

Actually , for my purpose, I don't really care if he has the car. Only the CD's but at this point, it is moot as I have found an ISO image elsewhere to resolve the issue.
