For some reason the Lobster claw wheels did not gain significant following by Porsche buyers so they were routinely swapped out for aftermarket wheels. As such, you should be able to more inexpensively replace them over the forged turbo wheels should something happen on the track.

Keep in mind the basic differences between the pressure cast lobsters and the forged turbos. If you have an ''altercation" the cast break, while the forged will usually bend.

 

Check Pano - Carlsen Porsche, IIRC, has new Turbo wheels discounted to move them.

 

Check out the DPE 18" forged wheels for sale on Ebay...83 lbs total....light, strong cheap...plus looks good (and get P-Zeros already on them)
