My Thoughts on VF Engineering Supercharger Kits
My Thoughts on VF Engineering Supercharger Kits
Since 2005 when I got my first 996C2, I had always wanted to throw a supercharger on it. All I knew was about the then "EVO" kit was the way to go. But like many, $10K was a stretch. After failed attempts to get a deal, I found a little unknown company in aftermarket called TPC by an advert in Excellence. I got this supercharger installed on my Project 996 and ran the **** out of it and advertised the **** out of it. Its current state is unknown now at its 3rd owner.
For the past 4 years we have been missing the boat with the 996 and 997 customers wanting forced induction. Though the TPC kit did me well, there was much more we could do for customers wanting to supercharger their Carrera. Well now VF Engineering and Vivid Racing have crossed paths and are ready to rock and roll as the source for Supercharger Kits to 6speed online customers. Now personally having used and touched both systems, I can definitely give a good opinion.
When you look at the engineering that VF has done on their first kit nearly 10 years ago, it is quite amazing. Flashing the ECU with GIAC, using new fuel injectors, and a professional look and fitment giving the customer an OEM resale value. With their Porsche 997 3.8L Carrera kit making almost an additional 150 horsepower, it is no wonder why VF Engineering is popular.
You can find more videos, dyno numbers, and information on the VF Engineering kits for Porsche and BMW on our official VF Engineering Product Page Here.
I look forward to working with future customers wanting to get supercharged and hope that previous VF customers chime in with their opinions on this amazing product.

To clear the air, our kit switched to the flash/6 injector tune about 4 months ago. VF makes a nice product, we just do things here a differently. I dont like to post anything other than positive things in others threads i just felt it was important that the public knew how our product worked.

We now have something entirely different in the works.

My TPC supercharged 996 Carrera was my favorite car. Loved the product, loved the car. I was hustling TPC before TPC had a name on 6speed. I am just saying, in addition to, we are now selling VF Engineering as it is a good quality product that is very popular in the Porsche community.
