TechArt Springs for C4 Wide Body

Hello guys,
I'm new to this site and was wondering if I can get some assistance. I recently bought a 2006 Carrera C4 Wide Body (drove 500mi to get it), and cant wait to drop some springs on it. Ofcourse the battle was between H&R and TechArt. TechArt typically cost more, but I was able to scoop up a deal on Ebay on a relatively new set for $200 shipped.

It just arrived, but there are no parts number on the springs. How do I know that it's the exact ones for my model? The Ebay auction did mentioned the correct part number, but this can easily be obtained by searching the net.

All it says is Eibach, with 097/VA4 for one set, and 097HA on the other. My installer is charging me an arm and a leg to put these in ($700 including alignment).

I don't want them to take the suspension out, then to find out it's not the correct springs. I'm certainly these are for Porsche models, I'm just concern it may be for the narrow bodies.

Any inputs are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

TechArt springs are repackaged Eibachs. The Eibachs lower the PASM equipped cars only around 15mm as well, the non PASM cars 25mm.

I had Techart springs on my Turbo . The labor time wold cost nearly the same as if you bought Bilsteins coil overs but the springs cost a lot less . As far as springs go the Techarts are great . They just aren't coil overs .

Here is a picture of what my spring looked like next to the Bilstein . Maybe this will help you see if you have the same.

Great Responses

Hey Thanks! But looking at your picture, it seems like the Bilstein also has a wire that can be reattached back to the car for PSM to work correctly?

Here's how I understand it. My car does not have PASM, but does have the "Sport" button. When I push that button in, the engine responses differently, and so does the shocks. It supposedly firms up for sportier handling. If I change my shocks to Bilstein, and assuming that it may not have the wire to adjust per the button, won't I lose the ability to use the "SPorts" function of the car?

Even if the Bilstein has the wire to hook it up, is it tuned similarly to stock?
