Greetings . . . I am looking for a new '09 Targa 4S manual and there seems to be a glut of black and gray availability . . . have one dealer at 88k on a 112k sticker for a black/black . . . is this too good to be true and am I silly to pass it by?

You are in a tough region . Most in the higher volume areas like So Cal and Fl are posting 15- 21 percent .

 

Or a great region, depending on how you look at it. Actually $24k off of $112k is just over 21%, so at the upper end of the average you've seen. Quite a deal, but it the 2010's will be out soon - much closer to MSRP though.

Also looking at a GT Silver 4S . . . is there a huge difference GT Silver vs Arctic Silver?

 

Yes . GT silver is a special color . It costs more but it is absolutely beautiful . The shades are different .

 

That's something that you need to see in person-definitely different but only you can decide if its worth a premium. Your dealer will have large samples that show the difference. In the end, I think GT Silver is an excellent color but would be equally happy with other colors as well.
