Or rather, CAN one actually purchase new OEM seats?

My C2S cocoa seats are of the plush leather variety and I'm not all that in love with them - I much prefer the base seat in my Boxster S.

In my case, it's proving rather tricky locating any used seats in Cocoa - black has been no problem, but Cocoa? Not so much. I heard a rumor at some point that some items (such as seats) can't really be ordered from Porsche after the fact.

I've been checking in with LA Dismantlers every so often for about 3 months with no luck - ebay as well, but if I could just purchase new seats I would.

Anyone else been in the same boat, trying to locate standard or sport seats in a color other than black? What did you end up finding, if anything?

 

Suncoast has the best pricing on OEM Porsche parts I've found, and they're great to deal with. I've spent more money with them than I care to contemplate. Just give them a call and I'm sure they'll be able to find you the seats you need.

We can only order GT2 and GT3 seats. Looks like we can only order individual parts from the standard seats.

Porsche Catalogue "Part not available" when trying to lookup the complete seat... Bummer. There's got to be a part number for it, up until about 3 years ago they published the complete-seat part numbers. (getting wise to all the chinese knock-offs no doubt)

What a pain in the butt it would be to piece it together, however on the flip side, you could just recover with the Cocoa pieces without the supple leather option.
