Both cars are lowered on Bilsteins (Damtronics) . Wheels are 11.5 width . Any lower on that Turbo and the spoiler will taste the floor.

 

true story,

I was working at this big biotech company when I was younger. Mid Nineties. There was a woman scientist (phD) from moscow university working with me on the same project. Brilliant woman, very technical minded. not really a barbie doll type.

one day she said her father in law just bought a new car, a toyota.
I asked "oh yeah what kind?"
She said "I don't know but it's blue."

I guess women are same even behind the iron curtain (at the time).

 

Some huge over-generalizations about women going on here. My wife doesn't like white cars at all - especially for guys - I'll put it more PC than she would, but she thinks more or less they don't look "manly". I was looking at a really nice white M3 with blood red leather interior - and she put the "no way" on that car. So now I have the black/tan 911 - that'll teach her.

But she's a trip - outdrove me and a few other guys at the M5 DE in Greer (MT - and I taught her how to drive manual 20yrs ago ), but she could, in general, care less about cars - figuring her out is a never ending process.

 

I wasn't talking about particular colors.

in GENERAL, Capability of cars seems to be more important to men.

 

To me, girls don't really care about our toys anyway. They care about what our toys represent. In every scene girls are attracted to the same things. Girls that like guys in the Donk scene turn their heads when they see 28s. Girls in the exotic scene turn their heads when they see the waist high cars go by. The color is just a small detail. The color they really see is green, and that is what our toys represent.

lol. If I understand correctly, lowering the car limits how wide of a wheel you can put on it. I could be wrong about that though. I'm hoping when I get the 997tt to put 12 inch wide rears with that nice deep-dish look.
