0-1000m
hi i own a 997 4s mod06,
last night i check my 0-1000m with another person and a racelogic(gps machine)
with only 2500revs i did 0-100 5sec,400m 13sec,1000m 23,6sec with 230,1km/h exit speed.
I know that these numbers maybe are not the exactly ones.
my question is what's the best way to start 0-100?what revs?do i have to depress clutch at once or to have it pressed until the car starts to move ?
thanks in advance, sorry for my english!

I have not seen #'s for time to distance often, rather 0-60mph, 0-100 mph in seconds, etc so I have no reference for your figures. I know there are simple dash mounted gps devices that will give you results that you can compare to most magazine stats for your car. Perhaps the one you are using can do that as well. As for start you must try different rpm's and clutch release technique for your car and the surface you are on. I get best results with 2500-3000 rpm engage clutch quickly (just a bit of slip), floor throttle when hooked up but I have 2S. Others report different methods. I am not sure if this is what you are asking. if I have not understood your question, sorry. Your english is much better than my Greek by the way

It's all Greek to me!
I can appreciate your broken English, many people in my Italian family speak it. In America, we go by 0-60 and 1/4 mile times, not meters. By the book, an 09' 997 C2S sprints 0-60 in 4.5 seconds.
