Did Power comfort seats get wider at shldrs in a 911 ?

My 06 boxster S had the regular manual seats( comfort seats without power and memory) and they used to pinch me at the shoulder but the power comfort seats in a 911 seemed very comfortable , the sales guy mentioned that they were made wider 2 or 3 years ago , is that true?

I had adaptives in my 07 cayman S and they were nice but most cars on the lot have power comfort seats
