New porsche 997 's' pdk owner

Glad to be an 'official' member of the Porsche family. Take delivery on Monday, a 997 'S' Blk/Blk PDK, Sports chrono.

I would like to thank yrralis, titannero, rclaims for their advice and info. It helped in making a decision. Will post pics next week.

Congrats! What a great car.

I had one of the original Boxster Ss, and am still in love (I should have never of gotten rid of her). Having said that, nothing defines Porsche better than the 911. Rear engine? You bet...it works.

Enjoy!

Congrats, seems like PDK is starting to take over in popularity. A great transmission, but 6 speed is still a lot of fun.

Thanks fellas. I test drove both a manual and PDK and for my purpose the PDK was a better choice. it will be a DD with occasional track use..ok maybe more than occasional. I for one enjoyed the shift pattern in the pdk, did not find it too abrupt or harsh at all. Even the downshift form 2-1 in sport..actually kind of liked it.
