LED DRL finally done
The wiring is actually a lot easier than people think. The leds are just plugged into the where the w5w drl bulb goes with a resistor (from superbrightleds.com) connected to the + and -. The fogs are just unplugged (the computer doesn't check for errors in the fogs) and the turn signals just have the regular bulbs. Basically it's just plug and play. I tried taking the pics at night from all different angles but it just doesn't work, I have an extremely ****ty camera because my other one's broken (its some waterproof garbage)
Your camera is exposing for the average which blows out the lights. If you have exposure compensation, dial it down a bit to underexpose, or meter (aim and half-press on the shutter release) on a brighter area of the scene, hold the shutter button half-way, and recompose the shot. Depends on what sort of features your camera has, but there should be a way to get it done. Some cameras have a flash-fill mode or night scene - either of those may also help.
Nice job!
JDMtoy posted a photo of a pair installed on a 997. Instead of cutting into the housing, they just mounted at the radiator intake area. While not as stock look as OP's, they still looks pretty cool IMO. They claim they use 1W CREE LEDs on these, so they should be really bright like the stock Audi's.

Thant is incredible. I heard it was not an easy job to do and to get it where it operates with reliability is also a tough task . You are pioneering new territory in DIY type of installations. Great job.
I wonder if the LED "Christmas" light effect is going to really date our cars down the road. I saw an MB the other day sporting their version of it and - ughhh - just looks plain silly to me as does the goofy Audi. At least the 997 is somewhat tasteful and in a straight line, but one day these are going to be so out of fashion. No way I'd add them to a car.
I didn't notice them in the new BMW 5 F10 brochure - if true, that's a good sign - hope they remain clear of what seems like a tacky fad.
That said, the OP did a very nice job of it.
