Considering renting a storage unit to trade in/out storing DD vehicle and P-car that will mainly be driven in good weather. Curious if anyone has stored/parked their P-car in one of these locations, and what things I should take into account before doing so?

Looking at units that are secure, cameras, gates, and where possible someone on site 24/7. Also, exploring options for climate controlled units. Is climate controlled a nice to have, or a must have (more so than personal preference)? Current home garages are not climate controlled.

I wonder if heated spaces in cold weather areas do not accelerate corrosion...

Check the location of your storage re flooding and verify their/your insurance coverage re nature disasters.
