I guess you're right. I wasn't sure I'd find one, but the puck was easier for me to find here than I expect it would be for you to find a surf board in Vancouver, at least this time of year .

Maybe sun tan lotion might be hard to find here at this time of year, but surf boards are easy to find at 4th and Burrard...I think you know the area.

+1 do not lift engine on 997. Use approach illustrated in link above. I use standard jack points and place jack stands at illustrated rear suspension attachment points, works great - or you can reverse the jack and jack stand positions if preferred for clearance for the service you are performing.

dndodd is infamous around these parts
Spend $1500-1600 and buy a full car scissor lift. Works great, safe, and saves time. I figure it pays for itself.

I have to drive the 911 up on 2x12's to make it all work but it works great for all maintenace issues.
