i contested the car at event auto contest , and have won:

the smoothes paint job
the best solid colour
the best porsche (the only porsche contestent hehe )
the best coupe

basicly i won the best paint job.....

no, the 4S doesnt have turbo side vents... without the vents i wouldnt say anything as the work is impressive, but it seems with the vents he wants the look of the turbo and for people to think its a turbo without it actually being a turbo.

people are entitled to their opinions, im not saying everyone that likes it is wrong, im just saying i put it in the same boat as if someone bought a 430 and put scudaria parts on it so everyone would think they dropped double on a scud..


its just like saying "hey hey look at me, im in a turbo!" the same way i dislike people driving around "hey hey look at me i have my wing up! and im in first gear at 25mph so u can notice me"

 

I would do the same kit if I had the money. I wouldn't do it to trick people into thinking it's a Turbo, but instead because it looks amazing. Just because my 997S has a GT3 nose and wing doesn't mean I pretending to drive a GT3. Bulletproof didn't put a Turbo badge as I didn't add a GT3 badge. Great car man, congrats!

 

Hey Ari, out of curiosity, how much did it cost you to paint it ? Anybody know what typical costs in US are to re-paint ? I'm assuming about $2000 or more.

 

i own body paint shop....

we charge usd 1.200-2000 in indonesia

the cost of material hmmm...im not really sure cos i dont involve much but i think 50%

Maybe less focus on why and the means to do so...maybe more appreciation on the final product? You'll never know the real "why" so let's appreciate the craftsmanship of the product he created that satisfies his own guidelines of "why."
