PDK Shifts rough in automatic sport mode

Had software upate on 2009 911 4S but did not fix the abrupt/rough/jerky behaviour just before stopping - from 2 to 1. Dealer has given up. Porsche says it is not a warranty service issue - e.g. nature of the beast. Frustrating that it issue is intermittent/random - why you can stop three times in a row perfectly and the next 2 are rough makes no sense. Any solutions people can share?

I have found three things in my case that are perhaps coincident with avoiding the "jerk"/"lurch" ...(a) manual down shift into stops with final brake, or (b) there is a point as the car is downshifting on its own where you very lightly brake (complete feel/experience thing), or (c) drive the car with higher rather than lower revs even though you are in auto (forced shifting); brake normally. While doing any of these I don't have the problem.

I had this 2-1 shift thing with my car for the first 2500 miles or so, then suddenly it went away and I cannot make it happen no matter how hard I try. I don't know if the dealer did some update when they added my MF Wheel or it was just a matter of breaking it in. Seriously, what once was so obvious is now completely gone. I know my driving style has not adapted to it that much that it's me making it not happen. Complete mystery.

How many miles do you have?

Why should this be "fixed" ?

In Sport or Sport Plus mode I find this feature very driver envolving !
