Any comments on the Borla exhaust?

I searched around for old posts about exhausts, didn't find much about the Borla system. Does anyone here have any comments about it?

We've installed one system and the drone was out of control. I would encourage you to seek an alternative system. I hope my input helps. Feel free to contact us with any and all questions that you may have.

Member "Dave07997S" has the Borla mufflers on his car, and he loves them. He's got his paired with AWE cats. I've not heard them in person, however.

I don't know where to tell you but keep searching and you will find stuff. Personally, I've never heard any youtube renditions of any system that strike me as accurate - and I don't mean this as either bad or good. I'm a BIG Borla fan because of what it did to the sound on my Viper, but the one Porsche with Borla that I heard left me cold (I don't know if this guy had changed the cats also).

I'd pay attention to what Rennsport wrote in post #2 above.

Unless you are willing to work the entire system from headers to the tips, Rennsport is right. The level of drone will drive you nuts. If memory serves, the range for drone is around 2,600-2,800 rpm? I believe in the 997's that would be the typical hwy cruise range.
