Negotiating on a 06 C2 Cab

guys,

i found a 06 C2 Cab, TIP, that is CPO, at a Porsche dealer in New Jersey. It is midnight blue/natural brown interior and has 29k miles. They are not budging from the $50k. It is pretty basic in that it doesn't have the sports chrono or nav, but my plans are to drive this every other day to work. I really need the automatic since i fight the houston traffic 45min-1hr each way to work. i feel really good about the car since it is CPO and the price seems good at $50k. Can you guys convince me that this is a good deal even if i can't get them to drop the price??

I would be grateful to get as much input as possible. Thanks again!

I recently looked at trading mine in to get another vehicle so have a little more data points. Based on what you described, it seems like an OK deal. Mine has more options and also have CPO, and slight more mileage @ 34k.

If the condition of the car is good and you like the car, I would suggest to move forward instead of trying to save a few more grand and find the cheapest out there. Time of course is to your advantage as these will continue to depreciate, but life is too short to hesitate.

Hiro

If they won't budge on price ask for two new rear tires and call it a deal if you love the car .

IMHO $50K for '06 C2 tip is way too much. I would add $5K and found nice C2S for such money. For '06 C2 price limit in my mind was firmly set to $45K with optimum at $40K, above $45K begins C2S territory.
But, if one likes the car and there are no alternatives - may be... But I would not do it.

Put an offer out and let them think about it. A slow Christmas might have them calling you back.
