Stuart's Paint and Body, Techart MASTERPIECE!

Hey Hey!

Once again, we were put up to the challenge, this 997 TT transformed into a masterpiece.

As you will see, we spent many hours making sure everything was flawless!

We did everything from custom mounted screens to custom LED foglights.

Work overview:

Front end: Custom mesh grills made, they actually install on the radiators.

LED’s:
Techart upgrade daytime running lights, LED fog lights, custom fit duck work up and front re-trimmed and fit.

Bumpers: bumper shocks aren't tampered with, the very edges of the bumper rebar had to be cut off.

Of course our signature GT2 grills, Techart rockers and a new decklid and wing

Rear bumper: Aftermarket EVOM intercoolers, had to re-cut and re-fit the Intercoolers and all the duct work had to be re-shaped and molded. All brackets had to re-cut and re-done. The lower rear diffuser had to be modified for aftermarket exhaust.

That looks like a lot of solid custom work.
Did you cut larger vents in the rear bumper? How did you do that?
Where did you have the jackstands- looks like not the book recommended spots, so I am curious and interested.

It looks like they have the Jack Stands under the suspension. I use similar positions on my Touareg when I do work underneath it.

Tremendous job Nathan, I'm very impressed! I really enjoyed going through the photos and watching the project develop. Those heavy duty screens covering the radiators certainly look like they will stop almost anything from breaking through!

I'm also curious about your jackstand placement, can you shed a little light on that? There is so much discussion on the boards regarding jackstand placement, it caught me off guard seeing your stands away from the jacking points.

Again, fantastic job, your TechArt creation is truly a "Masterpiece!"

Amazing work. The TechArt pieces are definitely great out of the box, but then you really need to have a shop of your caliber who can paint and install them correctly in order to ensure a proper outcome.

I'm going to ask Stuart about the rear bumper for you.
