Anyone have a Techart front spoiler on their 997?
Thinking about adding a Techart carbon fiber front and rear roof spoiler to my 997. Wanted to see if anyone on the form did the same to their 997 and want to get feedback and/or pictures. Wanted to see if adding the front spoiler made the car scrape or bottom out on a regular basis?
I have one, but it is not carbon fiber. I believe it is the only one they offer though. My car is not lowered and yes, it does scrape. I think a bit less than an aerokit would. It gives the nice impression of a lowered car with the spoiler and the rockers. I'd definitely get the rockers if I were you. I'd check out the RotTec carbon fiber spoiler if I were you, I thought they really looked cool (not sure of the spelling).
It's all personal aesthetics, of course, but I'd save money on the roof one and wait to buy something more substantial for the rear down the road. Just my 2 cents.
Do a quick search for my thread - I posted a bunch of pics during the summer.

I have the full Techart type 1 on my Turbo . I believe that the carbon vent, mirror inserts and roof spoiler are the same . The front splitter is not the same as the 997S as well as the rear diffuser . BTW --I opted for the painted spoiler over the carbon with the roof choice.
we carry 2 style of CF front lip for 997 carrera and other CF exterior and interior as well, please check our website at www.rotteccarbon.com
