997 C2S - DD makeover at BRracing

Just chronicling another happy (maybe estatic) customer who came to us for a make over to their 997 C2S. Symptons- happy Porsche owner, but wanted a little more distinction with their car, wanted some excitement in their relationship, wanted that special feeling of "can't wait to get back in the car", and wanted to prolong their emotional commitment.

So, after listening to the needs and symptoms, BRracing recommended the following -
- new shows w new soles (HRE P40 w Michelins)
- new blood - Tubi exhaust w custom tips
- GMG WC sport springs
- GMG WC sway bars w custom adj sway bar end links
- Powerchip custom software tune

The results.....the transformation and the love and desire has fully been established. The car generates the love and care of the owner, and produces an amazing tune and sound when driven.

The parts for the operation -

Getting all the parts to work together, on our new state of the art alignment system (the only ZERO clearance rack in our area, and the only one w a complete TOUCHLESS laser alignment system - the cameras do not mount on the rims of the wheel, ensuring that we never scratch a wheel in any way, and allowing us to work w wheels of any size and orientation and clearance within the fender well)

And...the finished operation. Patient is very happy, ecstatic.....and what an amazing sound.

I like that look! More power and sound, great.
How would you describe the effect of suspension parts on every day driving?

Suspension changes - reaction from the customer ----- (we live in the San Jose area, and he picked up the car at 5pm at the end of his work day).....that night, after the drive back home, he was so impressed, that he sneaked out at night, and went on a long drive thru the mountains to exercise the car fully, and his reaction was "FANTASTIC".

The daily ride is fine, as the sport springs are a stitch firmer, but not harsh, and the sway bars do nothing to the ride quality, but definitely improves the overall handling.
We have done this transformation to both C2S, C4S, and TT, and all the customers seem to believe that the combination is the right adjustments that still allow for daily driving on the wonderful (not) CA freeways, but transform the handling and "fun" quotient.

We believe that w the PASM system on the newer cars, that this also works well and doesn't require a change to the shocks (which is what we normally would do w spring changes).

Ahh.....the fun of having Porsche's to drive.
