Techart 420ho power upgrade for 997.2S

Like FVD, this Techart system also claims alot of power gains, 35hp with the same mods FVD has. I would love to see this tuned cars next to a stock model in acceleration to see real world power difference.
The techart system seems to have the advantge of having two sound options, sport and a racing sound. I found the FVD exhaust sound(from videos) too loud for my taste.

Anyone here with this system care to share their experience?

I was going to post this in your FVD thread ---- the 997.2 X51 powerkit bumps horsepower to like 404 i think....which is very believeable...so it wouldnt surprise me to see a tad more from an aftermarket company kit that is essentially the X51 +++ in my eyes.

Doesnt seem like you can go wrong with either kit --- both are great names and look top notch --- id just be careful when shopping for things like this - dont look at hte total hp gained as the end-all be-all. Many other real world factors to consider.....

X51 Power Kit 997.II the engine is 408 hp by upgrading of modified cylinder heads, carbon-fiber air filter casing (upper part), new variable resonance intake manifold with six tuning flaps, sports exhaust system featuring specially designed twin dual-tube tailpipes and modified engine management.

The FVD, Techart and others are bolt on and no internal parts.

Lets not forget that porsche has to maintain emissions and sound levels to certain standards that companies like FVD & Techart do not. These aftermarket companies can have less restrictive exhausts, cats, etc... and thus gain more horsepower.

Just a comment on the FVD system -- mine is a lower decibel quiet version and quite civilized in sound.
