my screen is always is in North direction and i prefer to be in direction of the car as in all gps kits.
is this possible?

Yup, this is easily changed (assuming you've got the same OEM nav that I do (PCM 2.1 rev B)). Go to the map display, press the right hand rotary ****. A menu should come up. Uncheck "North". That should do it.
