Boxer engine oil consumption
We all know that some boxer engines use oil and others do not. Also some owners report that their engines did not use oil and all of sudden they use oil, typically when they take a longer road trip. On page 210 of the owners manual is the explanation:



Owners who experience this should change their oil more often.
