Introducing COR Forged!
I like many of the wheels, but the top black 997 with those chrome ones? I have to say that's the first time I have seen a Porsche with such ghetto rims. I guess to each his/her own, but wow!
Yes, indeed I did get my new wheels. HRE P40's in brushed aluminum look amazing. They changed the whole profile and stance of the car. Wow, what an improvement! I will certainly post up some pics when the snow, slush and salt are a distant memory.

Thanks Alex!
Again, like I said the other thread, why even fight it. Just pay up, make the customer happy and you'll get many other potential customers. I don't blame you because from here on out. When you hear about Cors, all you think about is the poor Mustang owner no matter how many side of the story there is. Many wheels company come and go, some change their names and survive, looks like Cor's is heading in that direction. So sad and preventible.
If you find the article on jalopnik it's pretty shady. I guess they change all the text on the site and warranties to disclaim that they are or street use only even though original claims boasted k street and track competition quality.
Luckily the guy who dhad this happen tool screen shots when he bought them.

Although I do think the company has a claim to deny warranty IF the wheels were indeed powder coated which could potentially weaken the cast aluminum wheels, if it's true that the company changed the wording of the warranty after the Mustang owners claim, then that's just bad business.
So in light of the foregoing, what would be a good wheel for track days?
And how does powder coating weaken a forged wheel?
Sorry about the double post. Not sure what happened.

I thought this was a cast wheel? Either way, if the wheel is baked during the powder coating process at high temps then that can change the integrity of the aluminum wheel. I've seen BBS rims that have failed on the track (all with R-comp tires) so this isn't something that never happens, but the way the company has dealt with the issue has caused them a PR nightmare.
