I'm looking at getting a battery maintainer for the GT3. I'm looking at the Deltran Battery Tender Plus or the Ctek 3300. The price is pretty much the same, half of the Porsche branded ones, but I noted a difference that the Deltran uses a float charge to maintain the battery while the Ctek uses a pulse charge. For our batteries, is there a charge that is recommended (pulse or float)?

Does the Ctek 3300 have float? I know the 7002 does.

 

The Ctek 3300 IS the Porsche unit - minus the Porsche label, and less than half the Porsche price. It is otherwise identical. Hard to beat it.

 

CTEK 3300, cheap on Amazon. Concur, this is the same unit Porsche puts their brand on. Worked well for my cab. My car started right up after its winter hibernation. I got the adapter that allows you to plug in to the lighter terminal on the passenger's footwell from the bay for a few bucks. This keeps you from having to mess with the battery terminals.
