Not to hijack this thread, but are forged or cast wheels generally better suited to winter use (potholes, etc)? I was thinking cast for the price differential and weight, but am not sure.

If you hit pothole large enough it does not really make any difference at all. For winter you just want cheapest one you can get IMHO. I am using stock classic wheels as I got em with a car already with PA2 tires.

For winters, 18's make a lot of sense since there is more sidewall to protect the rim. I am using oem carrera III's

this is not ur typical cast wheel tho guys. Beleive it or not this wheel is just as strong as a forged wheel. I just sold my bbs lm's and might pick these up as well.
