Its a silly question... but what liscence plate frame do you have
I searched for a frame that was subtle, understated.
I considered some that had "Porsche" or "No Substitute" in various finishes but all the ones I saw didn't seem to do IT for me.
Then, went into my local Autozone and saw the perfect frame....1/4" surround, polished chrome, no wording just a basic, smooth frame. That was the one for me. Best part, it was $6.56 out the door!
And I'll never put one on the front.

Front "Guild of Graphic Miners" - white letter on a black frame.
Back "Alumni - Louisiana State University" - on a pewter frame.
Will try go get some pics, but the choices are really "what, if any, would apply to you?" If none, then I'd go with a basic, black frame.
I've always found silly those frames that repeat obvious information visible elsewhere on the car. Having a frame that say "Porsche" for example, seems silly to me. Dealership ones are just ghetto in my book; a sign you were to lazy to remove that crap and too disinterested to tell the dealer not to put that crap on there. But maybe some folks really do love the ability to give thousands and thousands of dollars to a store.
Mine is an ugly dealer (read: free advertising) frame right now. However, I'll be getting one that reads "my other car is a Porsche", because it is, and people will just think I put it on the wrong car.
I bought a half dozen of these yrs ago.......over time I've had them painted & repainted car color for each car.
Main goal was to find a frame w/smooth lines that covered as much of the ugly alluminum as possible

There are a few nice OEM porsche ones on ebay from time to time..
Also I use the Fabspeed Motorsport. Its nice for a platic black frame, the lettering is of good quality silver ( not cheap white out stuff lol) looks fairly nice. The brands underneath are a bit small but its a good frame.

None. I won't post free advertising for a dealer, repair shop, etc. unless they want to consider compensating me. Which they don't. And, since I buy only white cars, and CA plates are white, frameless looks pretty good.
