Remus Exhaust any good?
Remus Exhaust any good?
I remember that name from 15 years ago, but how is their exhaust system on a 997.1? Any videos floating around? How does the sound compare to fabspeed and cargraphic?
Thanks,
Eric

I don't have any experience with the Remus system on a 997, or an Porsche for that matter. I do remember them being a big player back in my younger days of modding VW's.
As for the 997.1, there are so many tried and true exhaust options out there, I'd say stick with the big ones, Tubi, Cargraphic, AWE, etc.
My personal favorite setup on the 997.1 is AWE 200 cell cats with Tubi Mufflers. Sounds just perfect IMO!

In My Findings, Muffler cans Are All built the same, with a couple of exceptions. And for a $40-60 Can to be sold as a part of a $1500-2000 Muffler set up from a company, was not my cup of tea. So I did some research and found that Spin Tech And Magna Flow both Make a High Flow muffler that is very similar to the stock design Muffler, But both lighter and Smaller. I opted for the Spin Tech, Which gave my car a deep V8 sound at Idle and a Well Tune'd Porsche @ W.O.T. All you need is a very Trusted and Competent Muffler shop to do the install. The Shop I used Is Scotty's Muffler in SanBernardino Ca, They do all my car's And All I drive Is Euro's. Im very Pleased with My System and Always get Asked what Exhaust I have When I take the car to the Dealer for what ever. With Labor and Parts my system was $550. And looks as though it was built with the car.
