Just got the Tubi Exhaust installed today, and I have a feeling my mileage is going to go down due to extended periods of time in the higher rev ranges to hear that glorious sound.

I avg about 10 mpg

but than again my car does not know how to even work with sport plus off.
My Porsche sales person drove my car and checked the milage and almost died. He said most are avg in the 20's, but honestly I don't care. I've tried driving the car in regular mode and the PDK has you in 7th gear by about 40 mph. It drives me nuts. I would much rather have smiles per gallon

2006 C2S - 26 highway, ~19 avg w/mixed driving. My hope & change neighbor made a comment the other day as she was walking by - something like "uhhhhh that car is suuuuuch a waste of gas, gggaaahhhkkk".

Of course she has a 20-year old Lexus LS400 or something that likely gets about the same MPG, but that makes no difference to her for some reason.

19MPG average driving, more commonly less than that.

My PCM shows 15.7MPG after 3000 miles. Its my DD, so a lot of stop n go in LA. On weekends, I like spirited driving . I also like keeping the revs up. I dont like 7th. I also dont use normal auto w my PDK. Its mostly manual or sports mode.

I know I could get around 18-19 if i toned it down a little. I do like the quick acceleration feeling to 60 or 70 (much more so than driving way above the speed limit).

32mpg driving about one hour at 60mph. (I did not want to get there too early.)
Otherwise about 14mpg overall city+highway.

17mpg avg. when the driving is mixed. Well over 20 mpg on the highway cruising in 6th. Around town with sport on, (always) the mileage is pretty consistently about 11. If I didn't get on the highway, I'd bet my mileage wouldn't be better than 12. I downshift all the time, but I'm never hammering to redline either. Don't see how anyone could really average over 20 unless you were driving a tip in auto all the time or hop on the highway immediately.

24.5, 40/60 city/highway. Highway only varies from 27-29. That w/ sport off, driving about 75 on highway.

Minok has a spectacular aura aboutMinok has a spectacular aura about
My last tank of mixed 80% small town / 20% highway-interstate got me 22mpg on the tank. I have yet to put an entire tank through it on highway, but if I had to, I don't think I'd take my time..... ;-)

Driving more spirited, staying in the higher revs, I would get around 17.5-19 for the same mix of driving.

So thats a difference of about 70 miles to the tank at best, or about 4 extra gallons per fill-up, so about $16-17 more per fill-up at current rates. So whats the $16 worth to someone?

If I feel peppy, I do not care about the small amount of money... its not wasted. Still, occasionally I feel like seeing how high I can get the fuel economy, just to deal with the questions about how much gas it uses, where I can then say, its almost as good as a Toyota Camry... which should shut them right up.

2009 C2 PDK. 19-20 mpg around town, 27-28 mpg on the highway averaging 75-80 mph. All measured via miles driven/gallons to fill tank

computer reports high mpg

The on board computer in my Cayenne routinely reports gas mileage about 7-10% higher than the actual mileage measured by dividing distance traveled by gallons put in the tank at fill up. My Porsche tech says that the computer readout is an estimate of gas used rather than an actual measurement taken in real time. He says a 7% loss compared to the computer is common.

I also have a new 911 and suspect the same but have not had a chance to measure it. Even so it reports 23.7 mpg for about a 2-1 highway to city mileage ratio, not bad even if the number is really 21-22 mpg.
