Ahhhhh buddy u always make me LOL! BUT everyone here on this forum that is a male( not tryin to be rude JenK
) knows that when "they" are happy, "you" are happy. LOL So a piece of BLING goes along way! Besides if you add up the mods in your car and give the wives the total..........
Jim
Last night after long day @ work I tore the bumper off and installed the cats!
It was probably easier then the cans, to be honest with u. I just wish I had taken pics of the install
. Anyway the bumper removal was about 6 minutes and the rest took about 1 and half hours. I took it for a spin and I can no longer hear the whale of the Evoms. I dont feel any boost, but I am disconnecting the battery on Sunday

I hope you upgraded your ECU as I have been told by a Unichip tech today that there is little to no performance improvement from aftermarket intake and exhaust add-ons without upgrading the ECU with software reprogramming. I am waiting to complete the add-on packages (EVO-intake, Agency-Power Exhausts & Headers, Sport Catbacks) before upgrading with a new Unichip ECU unit. By the way, Unichip ECU costs have dropped from $750 to $575 now.
luv the burble on down shift....think i picked up about 60 hp LOL

agreed...... next will be softronic, because of ease in download flash and un flash
Softronic on a '99 996
I wish I could do the same, which I was going to do. Apparently, the 99's are not capable of the software hookup needed for Softronic. They said they can still upgrade my ECU, but I will have to send it in. So I thought, well if I have to send it in, why not use Unichip since it is $575 instead of $875 for Softronic!
