Mobil 1 Spring Rebate

Mobil 1 Spring Rebate
For those of us that change our own oil, Mobil 1 has a Spring Rebate promotion. $12 for the purchase of five quarts of Mobil 1.

This rebate is in addition to some local auto parts retailer's "Oil Change + filter" promotions offered. Here in Minnesota, Pep Boys has a 5 quarts + Filter for $29.99 or $6.00/quart less the $2.40/quart mail in rebate = $3.60/quart less the amount of the filter you return, should get you to about $2.50/quart.

Edit. There is a catch, there is a list of retailers you must purchase from. In my case, I do have a few retailers that do put the Mobil 1 on sale so my cost will still be quite low.
