OK, I looked. It is on page 63 of my manual. For engine temps under 122, it deploys at 75 and retracts at 37 mph. For engine temps over 140 F, it deploys at 50 and retracts at 19 mph. "If automatic control fails, a warning message is displayed by the on-board computer."

Thanks for pointing out yet something else I wasn't aware of with this car.

BTW, I wonder how many police know that a deployed spoiler on a 997 suggests that the driver is doing over 75mph?
