Turbo Wing on 997.2 C2S

All --

I had the OEM 997.1 Turbo wing installed on my 997.2 C2S. Along with the Turbo wing, you may need the following parts:

1 997-631-052-01 AS STOP LIGHT
1 997-624-056-04 AS BLOWER
1 997-512-611-01 SEALING . LID.REAR.
1 997-512-711-00 AUXILIARY SEALING
2 999-591-712-40 PLASTIC RIVET
4 900-378-223-09 SCREW HEX-HD. 6X25
1 997-622-670-00 WIRE HARNESS

The 997.2 C2S airbox's 2 intakes are more forward than the 997.1 Turbos intakes, which are more aft. Therefore, the stock snorkels do need to be modified somewhat to fit over the intakes -- they are a near perfect fit now. Also, the fan, and raise/lower of the spoiler works just like in the Turbo.

Here are some pics of the final product:

Many, many thanks to Sewickley Car Store in Pittsburgh for doing an awesome job on this mod!

It looks great. Im glad you finally got the wing wired. The car is looking awesome

Thanks Justin. I have you to also thank because you sold me the GT2 style wing for my turbo, thus, freeing up my Turbo wing for my C2S.

I think it would look even better with the RSC11's - ahem.

Very nice, I have been thinking on doing the same on my car as well. May I ask how much did that roll? I tried to find some used parts from people that upgraded their TT wings, but no luck so far.
Txs

I'm not certain yet. I haven't been invoiced for the last bit of work. I'll update thread when I know.

Taylorcoleman that looks great. I asked Taylorcoleman if he would be ok with me posting here that we have a complete 997 Turbo Decklid and Wing with Hydraulics available for sale and he gave permission to mention that. The one we have is painted in Meteor Gray and is in great shape. Pick-up is preferred, any questions please contact me.

The spoiler looks great on your car, nicely done!

amerlemans Apr 23, 2010 03:26 PM

I would almost guarantee this set up costs north of $10K.

This would get the project off to a good start and under budget: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...rdraulics.html

If the parts were bought new than yes definitely over $10K.
