I like the look of quad exhaust tips. However, as one is basically deflecting a straight flow into two outlets each via a diverter, I wonder about the possibility of the slight increase in backpressure resulting in engine damage over the long term. Does anybody know?

 

In looking inside my quad tips, I don't think there is any reasonable way they would interfere with reduced back pressure.

 

Not even enough to register on the dyno.

Personaly I do not like the FAKEY quad tips.

 

The 09 and later PSE equiped cars use all four exhaust ports. A seperate pipe for each.

 

It's all for esthetics and personal tastes.

I like the quad tip look and no there is no increase in back pressure whatsoever.
