Some of you may recall from the for sale section that I recently sold my Rinspeed sideskirts. The sideskirts were glued on to my rockers, so I'm getting my rockers touched up by the body shop.

Was hoping someone with a narrow body C2 or C2S can check their rockers for me.

As far as the texture/finish goes, does it look the same as the rest of the car? Or does it have a rougher texture - looking almost like there's a clear film on it (not as smooth and shiney as rest of car)?

The latter is treated with a rocker protection coat that protects from rockchips, but will cause the paint to be not as smooth and shiney as rest of car. Just wondering how the rockers are from the factory as I don't recall.

Yeah, that's right. The surface is not completely smooth. Here are a few pics I from 2009 C2S - stock. There are not the greatest, but I think you can see the difference.
