06 997 Passenger seat removal

Over the years with other P-cars (944,968,993), I have occasionally removed the passenger seat to accomodate gear storage (camping, ski, bike etc.) with no problems when running solo. However, with the air bag now located in the seat back I get a warning which must be cleared after reinstalling the seat. Anyone have experience with the fault warning reset? Must dealer preform it? Charge fee for doing it?

Either buy or borrow the Durametric software and cable. You can reset the airbag warning light with it. It comes in handy for situations like this. You may be able to get around the dealer charging you if you claim that the warning light just appeared for no apparent reason.
