I use my chrono all the time now and the chronolize website. It's really neat to review my track data. I just leave the chrono running the whole session and review my laps on the site.

You can also analyze the data on a spreadsheet. The CSV file has the header names N it is very easy to do what the Web app does.

I find the "pimple" basically useless. The functions are duplicated on the data screen and it clutters up a classically beautiful binnacle. I did not know you can order the package without the pimple as a delete option when I built my car.

I have 9.11 displayed on the stop watch.
I tried it a few time a few months ago when I was waiting for my girlfriend and it landed right on 9.11.

lol... I've tried to get it to stop on 9.11 without success. Never use it on lapping days (who would believe it anyways?!? Use a hotlap timer for that... ) It does have a nice glow at night though so that might be the only use I have for it.

Auto-x? I don't like the remapped throttle. Too touchy IMO. On a bumpy surface PASM in sport is so stiff that I'm faster in normal with PSM off. Too much skittering around in Sport mode.

sports chrono....

I realize the option provides the sports plus option but the actual chrono seems basically useless except to note your P car has the option....................

I think it looks great. I just got my car, so I'll see how I feel down the road. I always liked the analog clock on the dash of my '02 QX4 and this is similar to that. I also think it's a cool gadget.
I guess that's why they say that about opinions: everybody's got one!

Yeah, I agree it looks cool and was a selling point when I bought my car but I've realized over time that I'm never going to use the lap timer! Oh well...

I wish Porsche had designed it with halo lighting at night, but I guess they were worried about affecting forward night vision. Anyone done this as a mod?

Thats the difference between us and professional race car drivers.

Ever watch F1 drivers? they are adjusting mechanical brake bias levers with their left hand as they approach a 2nd gear corner at 300km/h, to then downshift, all the while talking with their race engineers about tweaking the fuel ****...

It lights up when 'on' at night. You can also have it permanently 'on' with the dash lights by coding in PIWIS or Durametric.

Yep that is it exactly. It is 2nd nature for them as they are in there cars all the time. I use SC at the track but screw up and sometimes hit the stalk the wrong way. I have a new lap timer for the track on the way to record every lap...which you can not accurately do with Sport Chrono.

Are you getting a Hot Lap timer? That seems to be the standard out here - I'm thinking of getting one.
