Smile Aluminum Side Mirror Accents...

Has anyone installed aluminum side mirror accents on their 997? If so, are they easy to install ourselves? I saw these accessory accents on Suncoast's website and wanted to know off hand...are they an easy DIY?

Thanks!

When I ordered mine with from the factory I thought it was too much but still went ahead anyhow. I like the look but it really is subtle. I don't know if I would have paid that much again for them. I also added from Suncoast the matching grills which I really do like.

fontana302 is infamous around these parts
The trckiest part is removing the mirror. Irrespective of what's stated, they will brake if you grab it on the outer edge & pull out - I know from experience. Get your fingers underneath the bottom edge near the center of the mirror & pull out from there to unclip (that's closest to where the mirror clips in, so less likely to brake). It will take a little force. All your need are a couple of torx keys after that.

Here's how to:

Step 3 is the tricky bit. Didn't need step 7 - no screw on my 2010.
