"Trackable Street Pad" - Got Porterfield R4S's on My 997.2
"Trackable Street Pad" - Got Porterfield R4S's on My 997.2
I told my local shop I would like a trackable pad for DE/autocross that wouldn't be terrible on the street (in other words, a compromise! but something slightly better than stock).
They recommended Porterfield R4S's so I have those installed now. I will report back after my next DE as to how they did.
Anyone ever use the R4S's? Any other pad recommendation that is better than stock at the track, but still decent when they're cold / on the street?

We have used the R4S on dual purpose aircooled 911s with success. We also have run them in our aircooled 911 race car with good results, but that car has far more brakes than it needs. They are good pads.
However, what issues were you having at the track that you are trying to address with the pad change?
Cheers
