After looking at the new 2011 price increases, I'm quite glad I didn't say no! Particularly since the Ruby Red Metallic is now a special color ($3,140), and the base price ($1,700) and other option increases. The 2011 C2S coupe I was going to order increased (with Ruby Red) a total of $4,305. And the dealer had stated that there would be no discounts on 2011's as all U.S dealers are going to get a lot fewer 2011 allotments. Probably a 50/50 true/sales pitch statement.
Anyway, I'm really, really warming up to my new Cabriolet. The car has Bose and XM radio, so I've already been tooling around with the top down and some nice tunes. The dealer will install the OEM sport exhaust system Monday, and I can hardly wait to run it with the PDK sport plus mode.
I'm in my early 60's, in excellent health, a (cute) wife of 35 years who still loves me, and a new ruby red C2S Cabriolet.
I am truly blessed!!!
