2008 C2S in Arizona

For the past 2 days it has been extremely hot here in Phoenix. When I got home from driving around town I pulled into my "hot garage" and parked. After 30 minutes I came out to the garage to get something and noticed that the fan was still going (with the car powered off).
After this happend the second day I took my car into the dealer.
As it turns out "this is normal" for 911's in Phoenix. I was told that some times it can take as long as 30 or 40 minutes for the car to cool off enough for the fan to stop coming on.
I wished that this was put in the owners manual.

John.

I thought it was in the manual. Mine does the same thing in North Carolina. The fan will usually cycle on and off, not run continuously, until the engine compartment cools off

If you park in a garage, open the engine hood.
